ONE NIGHT ON BROADWAY
NENAproductions Theater Project will team up with the "NJ Central Makeup Artists for MAC" to present One Night on Broadway, a musical revue benefiting The Center in Asbury Park. All proceeds from this one night only event will go to The Center. The musical revue will be presented on Sunday, June 9 at 7:00pm at The Jersey Shore Arts Center at 66 Main Avenue in Neptune at the entrance to Ocean Grove.
Artistic Director Nick Montesano leads an all volunteer cast including Arnold Teixeira, Casey Grady Surgent, Amanda Munice, Heather McLaughlin, Frank Falisi, Tara Beams, Emily Monus, Sean Dickinson and Samantha Maidlow. Musical Direction is by Jeff Brown with Stage Management by Allison Walter.
There will be a silent auction the evening of the benefit. Every dollar of ticket and silent auction revenue will go directly to The Center in Asbury Park. General Admission Tickets are $25 available at www.ticketleap.com or by calling 732-988-1007.
The Center in Asbury Park, Inc., is a volunteer based New Jersey not-for-profit service organization, providing support services for people living with HIV/AIDS and their caregivers, since 1992. The Center offers its clients a safe haven in order to instill a sense of community and stability in their lives as well as permanent supportive housing for 25 adults. Everyday, The Center provides that and more to the HIV positive population of Asbury Park who don't have a home. Led by Father Bob Kaeding since 1992, a dedicated staff of mostly volunteers provides daily meals as well as shelter, long term housing, and a sense of community in downtown Asbury Park, NJ.
NENAproductions Theater Project is a resident theater company at The Jersey Shore Arts Center. The company is in its 17th season of productions which have included everything from Sondheim to Seussical, Gilbert and Sullivan to RENT, and Shakespeare to Tennesse Williams.
