TARA WILSON BEAMS has been performing with NENA since its inception and she is thrilled to be adding her voice to this incredible group of performers and celebrate the return of live theater! Favorite NENA roles include Sister Mary Hubert (Nonsense), Mimi (A New Brain), The Witch (Into the Woods), Mary Flynn (Merrily We Roll Along), Princess Winnefred (Once Upon a Mattress), Columbia (The Rocky Horror Picture Show Live!), Matron "Mama" Morton (Chicago), Viola (Twelfth Night), Edith (Pirates of Penzance), Marta (Company). In real life, Dr. Beams is the Henry Hudson Tri-District Superintendent. BUT, her most important role is as a wife and mom! To her wonderful husband Dan, and her talented, funny, beautiful daughter, Tess...LOVE!

 

JEFF BROWN (Musical Director) has served as resident musical director at NENAproductions for the past 13 years. Select favorite productions include: Rent, Avenue Q, Sunday in the Park with George, Spelling Bee, Godspell, Carrie, the Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sondheim on Sondheim, Rocky Horror Show Live, and Assassins.  He is also pleased to serve on the Board here at NENA.  Jeff earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Ed. from Hope College, and his Master of Music in Music Ed. from Kent State University.  By day, Jeff is a Middle School band director, and is an active church musician, accompanist and musical director.  Thanks to his family and friends for their support every day!

 

HEATHER MCLAUGHLIN is happy to be performing with NENAproductions once again. Previous shows include Once Upon a Mattress, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Urinetown! The Musical, Bat Boy! The Musical, Blood Brothers, Into the Woods, Jesus Christ Superstar, Assasins, and Nunsense.

 

NICK MONTESANO (Director/Host) has produced, directed, choreographed, and designed for NENA including productions of Road Show, Dracula, Fun Home, Avenue Q, Rent, Assassins, Sunday in the Park with George, Sweeney Todd, Batboy, and several more. Nick has been inducted into the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters Hall of Fame for his career in theater. Special thanks for this to Meg for believing in us. JENNIFER NELSON is thrilled to be “all together” with old friends and new. She has previously been seen in past NENA productions such as Carrie the Musical, Rocky Horror, Once on this Island, Avenue Q, Seussical, and more. Special thanks to Nick for his hard work and kindness, Jeff for his patience and support, and Allison and the rest of the NENA crew, who are truly so special.

SHANNON PHILLIPS is so happy to be performing again with NENA Productions Theatre Project! She was last seen in the virtual performances NENA Takes You to School and For Now. Shannon’s first show with NENA was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in March of 2020. She is the owner of E. Holland Sundries in Bradley Beach. Thanks to everyone at NENA for making her a part of this truly amazing community.

 

JOE RONGA previously appeared with  NENA as Pharaoh/Jacob (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat), Vice Principal Panch (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, New Jersey Premiere), Ensemble (Assassins). Favorite roles include: Edna Turnblad (Hairspray, New Jersey Premiere), The Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz), Horton (Seussical) and Duke (Nice Work if You Can Get It). Joe dedicates his performance to RBK.

 

AMY CARR SKALECKI is thrilled to be singing again!  And what better company to be in than the incredible talents of NENA?!  Having played Mother Superior in Nunsense and Van Helsing in Dracula, All Together Now marks her third production with NENA and she can not think of a better way to spend her free time.  She wants to spread the love to Jeff, Maggie and Stan.  You're my everythinG.

ALLISON WALTER (Stage Manager/Host) is thrilled to have the NENA family ALL TOGETHER again! She has served as stage manager for a number of NENA main stage productions. Some of her favorites include: Fun Home, Road Show and Nunsense. Allison has proudly served on the Board of NENA for over four years. While usually hidden behind the scenes, she is so excited to spread the love ON stage with this wildly talented cast! #SupportTheArts

 

GINA WHALEN is thrilled to be singing again with Nena Productions. Past shows with Nena include Sondheim on Sondheim,  Fun Home and Secret Garden.

 

MAURA WHALEN is a Junior at George School, and is so excited to work with Nena Productions again! Previous work with Nena Productions includes Fun Home as Small Allison, as well as Secret Garden as Mary Lennox.
